Demo Istituto Martino Martini
I am pleased to share with you the exciting experience I had at the Abate Zanetti School with the Martino Martini Institute in Mezzolombardo, where, thanks to my coloring with the Murano Glass Museum and with Muve Education, I had the opportunity to conduct demos on glass processing.
During these demos, I offered students a fascinating journey into the world of glassmaking, exploring not only the traditional techniques of glassworking, but also the scientific principles of physics and chemistry that regulate its process. It was amazing to see students sinking their hands into science and art, understanding the intricate relationships between heat, chemical composition, and glass manipulation.
One of the most exciting moments of the demos was when I allowed students to put into practice what they have learned, offering them the opportunity to create a glass drop with their own hands. This moment of creativity and experimentation was an unforgettable experience for everyone, leaving a lasting imprint on the minds and hearts of students.
The demos were not only an opportunity to learn and experiment, but also to inspire and fuel students' passion for glass art and related sciences.
